Claymates

What is Claymates you ask?  It is a time on Sundays from 11-1 where people gather to get their hands in clay and socialize. Claymates is FREE and open to those 14 years or older. We will have projects to accomplish each week. It’s fun. Each session is limited to 8 people so please RSVP below. Handbuilding with Clay 

Michael Beck will teach a beginning and intermediate handbuilding class beginning March 22. The series consists of four, three hour sessions on Saturdays from 9-12. Each class series cost $125 which includes 12 hours of instruction, clay, glazes, and firing. You will be able to keep your creations. Everyone 18 years and older is welcome. Register below.

 Try the Wheel

Gary Ganz will offer a chance to learn about using the pottery wheel. You will try using the wheel to see if this is something that you would like to pursue. Or maybe you used the wheel in the past and just want to refresh your skills. The single session class will meet on Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm. Cost is $50 and you can register below.

If you decide to continue learning how to throw on the wheel, you can buy a $50 punch card which gives you 4 visits over two months or become a monthly member for $100 with unlimited visits and 1/2 block of clay. The visits can include independent practice and/or instruction from Gary for $20 per hour. You can make arrangements with Gary at the Try the Wheel class.

Private Small Group Classes

We offer private classes for groups of from 2-10 people aged 12 and up. No clay experience needed. This will consist of two sessions, one to create a piece and one to glaze the piece. Cost is $50 per person which includes instruction and materials. Message us with questions or call Cindy at 253-347-9019 to arrange a class.
