When my husband and I retired to the beach I promised to take advantage of any art classes available as it is a creative and imaginative area I had always been interested in but never had the time for.  My saga started with a free class at the library and ended up taking me from watercolor, to cement garden art, to acrylic waterproof paintings and hangings for indoors or outdoors and your dining room table, to acrylic inks on tiles, to silk scarf painting, and the latest being hand building clay and using slabs rather than the wheel.  I have found that getting your hands in clay is an organic and creative art form.

The good news is:  Exploring your inner creative self can lead you in a limitless number of directions until you find a place to call home.

I am now able to call myself a multi-media artist and to say that dabbling in the arts opened my creative inner spirit and has brought years of excitement and satisfaction.
